A Sassy New Boat

Dave and his brother John had a really small sailboat when they were in college named the SS Sassy. We've talked about getting another sailboat for a long time since we live in the perfect sailing place!

A few weeks ago my dad called at around midnight and left me a message that went something like this.

Dad: Rebek! Call me back immediately! It is an emergency. Call me the second you get this!

Mom (in the background): Bruce! Don't tell her it's an emergency. You'll scare her!

So the emergency was that he had found our perfect sailboat for sale and we needed to act immediately. There is nobody better at finding deals on used items and he was right again. Captain Dave approved and we bought the SS Sassy II.

We took it out on its maiden voyage last week with the girls.
